Many people shop online, buy something and then realize they could probably have bought it cheaper. If that sounds like you, you could be correct. Especially as there are many quick and easy ways to save money when shopping online.
Sign up for rewards programs — Many online merchants have rewards programs and, if you sign up for any that are offered at merchants you shop at frequently, you could save a lot of money.
Some rewards programs give out points that can be used towards the purchase of upcoming items. Others give you cash back every time you make a purchase. Sign up for both of them, and you could end up getting several free or cheap products every few weeks or months. Depending on how often you shop.
Use online coupons — There are coupon sites, e.g. شي ان, nowadays that have coupons for tens of thousands of products, and thousands of online merchants. Make sure you do a search on several of these sites before you make a final purchase. After all, if you find a coupon for the product you are going to buy, you could save up to 25% or more.
Use deal and discount sites — There are many excellent websites that list thousands of current deals and discounts for hundreds of thousands of products.
Always check these sites before purchasing anything online as they will often have discounts or deals you cannot find anywhere else.
Sign up for email lists — You can often get discounts for certain online merchants that are only available to people that are on their email lists.
Sign up for any email list from a merchant you purchase from frequently, and you may start getting discount coupons via email you have never had before.
Leave your shopping in your cart — A tip a huge number of shoppers still do not know about is logging into your online account with a merchant you plan to purchase from, putting items in your shopping cart and then leaving them there.
This is because many of the larger companies run software programs that find customers with items still in their online carts. These programs then send discount coupons to those customers via email, so that they may be persuaded to purchase the items they left in their carts.
This is a wonderful tip as it can save you 10, 20 or 30 percent off the full price of items you were planning on buying anyway.
Keep a lookout for cheaper prices after you buy — Some companies also offer money back if you find a product you have bought at a cheaper price elsewhere. That is why it pays to keep looking for the same product being sold elsewhere but cheaper.
To get a refund, you will need to apply for it within a set period of time.
